An Enchanting Evening
Central City Opera Guild
The Central City Opera Guild invites you to an unforgettable evening of music, celebration, and community! We’re seeking diverse, vibrant, and philanthropic individuals who are passionate about culture, connection, and historic preservation to join us for this special event.
Enjoy an elegant night in the 2nd Floor Parlor Bar at Clayton Hotel & Members Club, featuring live performances by main-stage musicians and opera singers, light refreshments, and wonderful company as we toast to the exciting season ahead. You'll also have the opportunity to learn more about Central City Opera’s impact on Colorado's vibrant arts scene, its history, and ongoing preservation efforts on behalf of the opera company’s 27 Victorian-era properties.

A ‘merry, whiz-bang romp through the Dr Seuss classic’ that seamlessly incorporates sophisticated references to familiar classical and popular music with a timeless parable about prejudice. Kapilow’s crackerjack musical accompaniment to a psychological tug-of-war between a boy named Sam-I-Am and a character called the Grouch meets Dr Seuss’s touching and funny tale about overcoming everyday prejudice.
